Do you ever wonder why everyone's Instagram stories look so creative and well put together? Actually there are multiple ways to make your stories stand out!
What apps are worth it? I listed my 8 favorite apps I personally use for my stories. With these apps, you can include collages, animations, vintage effects, nice fonts, videos, gif generators and more. If you want to see these app in action fo to my Instagrams @rosanne_onboard and @squaresbyrose.
Unfold is a great app to combine your photos and videos into a collage. The app offers multiple packages, my favorites are CS1 - FF1 - RP1. Those templates have a vintage film effect. Underneath the collages, you can write some text if you would want to.
2. SPARK CAMERA - VIDEO EDITOR
Make videos for your stories, a post or even IGTV. If you are a content creator you can NOT MISS OUT on this app! It's easy to use, has great color grading and you can even add music from your phone or their music library. I have a post on my instagram explaining this app in detail.
3. BURSTIO - ANIMATE YOUR BURST PHOTO'S
I got this app revered by my good buddy Paker (@parker.schmidt), thanks Parker. With this app, you can convert your burst photo sequence to a video or GIF. I personally love this app because it's a great creative alternative for your normal short videos.
4. PREQUEL - PHOTO AND VIDEO EDITOR
Prequel offers visual effects for both photo and video. Filters like VHS, Glitch, Film, Neo, Retro and more. They even offer a way to smooth your face, change your features and whiting your teeth during the use of your selfie cam. I like to use this app to make a ''new post announcement'' or to give videos a vintage effect.
5. HUJI CAM
Huij cam offers an effect to recreate the disposable camera look. You can add photo's from your library to edit them or shoot them straight from the app. You can add light effects and the date to the photo. The only downside of this app is that you have to look through the old school viewfinder.
6. AFTERLIGHT 2
Afterlight offers everything you gonna need for mobile photo editing. I believe that Afterlight is the top app feature wise. It’s a great an alternative for creators who find Lightroom a little too complicated to work with. I owned the first Afterlight for a years and I’m enthusiastic about the updates they did to make this app even more outstanding.
8mm edits your Instagram stories into vintage videos. It gives it a ''1950 family vacation vibe'' In the app, you can add different types of filters with film grain, black and white and some hipster looking colors.
The Over app is BIG, they have a lot to offer. Different types of fonts, stickers, backgrounds and more. You need to spend some time on this app to get used to. The thing I like most about Over is the freedom you have on the templates. Over offers pre-made templates with multiple options. When you feel to be more creative you can design them from scratch.
I hope this helped a bit to guide you in the jungle of Instagram optimization apps. There are a lot more great apps out there so keep looking. Until next time.
